About The Writer

Born Shervine Bunch on August 11, 1951, in Cotton Plant, Arkansas, most of his family and acquaintances in his hometown know him as Sonny Bunch.

Following graduation from Cotton Plant Vocational High School, he completed an apprenticeship as a Master Upholsterer from Dickson Upholstery Inc., in Brinkley, Arkansas. Bunch earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix, Class-A Commercial Truck Drivers credentials from Roadmaster Drivers School, Computer Pattern-making credentials from Emily Griffith Technical College in Denver, Colorado. He studied Professional Wood Repair, Wood Finishing, and Leather Repair at Mohawk Finishing Products Inc., and Seating Mechanic at Herman Miller University. He founded OC Furniture Technicians in Fullerton, California, Sonny Upholstery in Denver, Colorado, and Cotton Plant, Arkansas.

His English coursework inspired him to write his first book while studying for his Business Degree at the University of Phoenix in 2007. Bunch began writing his memoir in 2007.
